Course Duration: 2 hours
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at those who wish to understand how to give Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and how to use a defibrillator. There are many defibrillators (AED’s) in the community but sadly not many people are aware of how to use them.
The topics covered include : -
• Primary survey
• Unresponsive, breathing patients
• Unresponsive, non-breathing patients (babies, children and adults)
• Defibrillation (AED)
This is a non-regulated course.
Our courses are very “hands-on” as we believe actually practicing the techniques is a far more effective way of learning. Practical demonstrations and exercises, supported by on-screen presentations and lots of verbal interaction is our way of training.
Please note that while anyone can carry out first aid in an emergency, this course does not qualify someone to be classed as a First Aid at work as specified by the Health & Safety Executive. Please contact us for more information regarding our HSE compliant courses.
